The 1930s were interesting times in our nation’s history. The creation and roll-out of sweeping economic programs, in response to the Great Depression had just taken place. There was great hope and expectations in the country.
Explore some of the legacy footprints that remain in Minnesota from these programs, such as the WPA, PWA, CCC, NYA, and the VCC.
Doug Ohman is a popular speaker, historian, author and entertaining storyteller. He is also an expert photographer with deep Minnesota roots.
